At the IAS Board meeting held on the 24th of May, Mr. Frédéric POCHET-REYNES, Vice-President, International Cooperation at the International & Company Footprint Department of Airbus has been nominated Chairman of the IAS Board and President of the IAS.
Frédéric POCHET-REYNES succeeded Anne TAUBY, Senior Vice-Président Internationalisation Project at Airbus, who became President of the IAS in January 2016.
Mr. POCHET-REYNES joined Airbus in 2000 as executive assistant to the Airbus CEO. He moved to EADS in 2004 as Head of the Global Industrial Strategy Project, responsible for defining and implementing the company’s industrial strategy in key countries. He became Vice-President, International Cooperation & Business Development for Airbus Commercial Aircraft in 2010; in 2017, he was appointed Vice-President, International Cooperation, in charge of transversal cooperation operations within the International & Company Footprint Department of Airbus.
Frédéric Pochet-Reynes graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He lived in Tokyo for a few years as Attaché for Science and Technology in the French Embassy, before becoming an Aerospatiale permanent representative in Japan and South Korea. He arrived in Toulouse in 1994, where he held various positions linked to the A320 family program.
